Northern Adriatic Championship for the International One Metre (IOM) class is international radio sailing competition consisting of two days regattas in North Adriatic region (currently four events in Italy and Croatia). Slovenian IOM owners are welcomed to propose their event(s) to be included in the future edition of the Championship.Idea for the Northern Adriatic Championship for IOM class has been proposed by Italian IOM skipper Massimo Morin in year 2017 and welcomed by Zoran and Robert Grubiša in Croatia and Northern Adriatic Championship has been rebirth.
History
North Adriatic Championship was found on 1988 in Umag (Croatia) by a group of enthusiastic radio sailors, builders and organizers from Monfalcone (ITA) , Portoroz (SLO), Split and Rijeka (CRO). Main goal was to organize a series of five regattas in northern parts of Italy, Slovenia and Croatia and to promote international competition in the International Marblehead Class on one day events in Northern Adriatic region.
